Yes I realize it’s April but earlier this year I was craving a change in the living room. It’s common to experience home decor fatigue, particularly after the holidays, and more so given how much time we’ve spent in our homes this past year. I’ve used a couple different accent chairs in this living room nook but both had some type of woven component, and decided that something more substantial would elevate the area. Enter my friends at Joss & Main.
Due to the location of the picture ledges, any chair I selected had to have a low-ish back but high enough that there's some support. This is easier said than done and eliminated a number of chairs I was eyeing. It also can't be very wide given it's a small space, and I knew that I wanted something with black and fabric which further eliminated some options. Until I found the winner: the Heckscherville Stamford Club Chair. It's exactly what I was envisioning and even better, I found an open box version that brought the price down! If there's an open box item available, it will say so right under the regular price. Most often, these items are just returns but are in perfect condition.
Isn’t she pretty?! A timeless design that can work in a variety of design aesthetics. The chair is currently out of stock but due back within a month or so, and one of the best parts of Joss & Main's website is that you can sign up for in stock notifications. I've found that items often come back earlier than expected!
