Can you believe Christmas is THIS weekend? I know there are plenty of you who take one day or weekend to hammer out every single decoration but I’m the type of creatively impulsive gal who feels the need (and desire) to add, remove, or restyle often. So when it comes to holiday decor, I tend to start with the basics (wreath, a mini tree, a holiday scented candle) and layer in textures, accents + patterns over time. Maybe I’ve been inspired by something I saw, or it’s just not feeling quite “finished”. Well if you haven’t decorated…or are constantly adding little details daily?! Ever since we (unexpectedly) removed the wood burning stove in our den (unsure what I’m talking about? Head to the Den Insta Story highlight), I have been counting down the days until our new fireplace arrived. Finally! A place for our stockings! Greenery! Decor! Until we can put in a real or gas fireplace, well this is just perfect.
Our house is always filled with various Target items. Seriously…every room, every season and you bet I’ve incorporated plenty into the new fireplace area. I’m not sure what I love more, the classic marble stocking holders or Bruno’s sherpa dog bone stocking!
